All items are handmade and follow his own natural-ageing process. With his unique marriage of quality and originality, Robert Fauré has much to offer professionals working in all areas of interior decoration. The natural process used for ageing ensures that each piece has a unique shape and finish. The final ageing process involves two stages of tinting:

 

· The first tint, referred to as “archaeological”, is obtained mechanically during the natural ageing process. Through an extended contact with earth, the piece acquires a permanent tint, which gives it an appearance of having spent a long period under ground.

· The second tint, called “grisaille”, is obtained by using patina giving the effect of dust and dirt accumulated over long term storage. This grey patina is removable.
